Delete your Metkagram data
Updated: November 16, 2025
You can erase all information that is synced with Metkagram (profile, grammar stats, saved flashcards, and custom decks) without contacting support. The deletion flow lives inside the app so you stay in control of your data.
Delete the account inside the app
Follow these steps on iOS, Android, or Windows — the Settings screen looks the same everywhere:

Open Metkagram and sign in
Launch the app on your device and make sure you are signed in with the account you want to remove.
Go to Settings → Account
Tap the Settings icon in the tab bar, then open the Account section. It shows your email, subscription status, and sync information.
Tap the Delete account button
At the bottom of the Account settings you will see a red Delete account button. Tap it to review what will be removed.
Confirm the deletion
Read the confirmation dialog and tap Delete account again to permanently remove your profile, custom decks, sync history, and progress.
Once confirmed, the deletion is queued immediately. Sync data stored on Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore is removed within 24 hours, and the account cannot be recovered.
After you delete the account
- All custom decks, notes, and learning history are permanently erased from our servers.
- You will be signed out on every device; reinstalling the app will not restore deleted data.
- App Store / Google Play subscriptions must be cancelled separately in the respective store to stop future billing.
- Local cache on your device is cleared automatically; uninstall the app if you want to remove the app files as well.
Need help or can't access the app?
If the device is lost or you cannot log in, email support@metkagram.app from the address tied to your Metkagram account. We will verify ownership and finish the deletion manually.
